Grape
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Description
A parcel bought direct from the cellars of this leading cru bourgeois property, and hence matured under excellent conditions. The estate's 48 hectares of vineyards are located at St-Saveur Médoc. The wine underwent 14 month's maturation in 25% new oak. Now nicely mature, this is a complex, savoury wine which still exhibits just a little fruity youthfulness. Notes of cedar and truffle are supported by plenty of brambly fruit and satisfying density. Enjoy with all manner of roasted meats, especially lamb or duck.
