Description
This wine has been sourced from a very well-known Pauillac second-growth. From grapes grown on some of the estate's younger vines, this is a wine made with a view to earlier drinking than the typical grand vin, but it is hand-harvested and oak aged for 11 months. Approachable in relative youth for a Pauillac offering, the wine is deep crimson, with a nose tinged with violet and soft leather. Plenty of cherry and cassis flavour fill the ample palate. Decant an hour before serving for maximum aromatic expression.
