The wines of Château Tour du Haut Moulin are built for the long term, and the 1997 has benefited from careful laying down for several years. This parcel was recently released by the Château and is now at it's peak and drinking beautifully. The nose is enticing with a ripe earthiness. Well-structured, soft, elegant claret with hints of cigar box and plenty of complex black fruit flavours.
