Located in the village of Bertineau, this Montagne St-Emilion has delicious rich fruit-cake notes on the nose. The palate is well-balanced and smooth with fine-grained velvety tannins typical of right bank Merlot. Lovely complex plummy character similar in style to nearby Pomerol, this wine is drinking beautifully now but will continue to give pleasure for the next 3 years.
